Privacy Policy

A Personal Note Regarding Your Privacy

Planning a wedding or event is personal. When you ask for our venue guide, schedule a tour, contact our team or choose Maison Albion for your event, you trust us with information about you and your plans. We take that trust seriously.

This Privacy Policy explains what information Maison Albion LLC ("Maison Albion," "we," "us" or "our") collects, why we use it, when we disclose it and the choices available to you.

Privacy Policy

Effective date: September 2, 2026

1. Scope of This Policy

This Policy applies when you:

  • Visit MaisonAlbion.com or another Maison Albion page that links to this Policy;

  • Request our venue guide, pricing information or other materials;

  • Submit an inquiry or contact form;

  • Schedule, reschedule or attend a venue tour;

  • Communicate with us by email, telephone, text message, social media or another channel;

  • Enter into a wedding or event relationship with us; or

  • Otherwise interact with our sales, marketing, scheduling or event services.

Some of our forms and scheduling pages are hosted for us by service providers acting on our behalf. This Policy applies to the personal information Maison Albion collects through those pages.

Third-party websites and services may have their own privacy policies. This Policy does not control how an independent third party processes information for its own purposes.

Accessing our website gives you notice of this Policy. A website visit by itself does not constitute consent to a use that legally requires affirmative consent. Where consent is required, we may request it through a cookie control, form checkbox, communication preference or other clear prompt.

2. Information We Collect

Depending on how you interact with Maison Albion, you may provide:

  • Your name;

  • Email address;

  • Telephone number;

  • Mailing or billing address;

  • Contact and communication preferences;

  • Wedding or event details, such as a desired date, estimated guest count, event type and package or service interests;

  • Feedback, reviews, testimonials, photographs or other materials you choose to provide or authorize us to use; and

  • Any other information you voluntarily provide.

If you provide information about another person, please do so only when you are authorized to share it and, where appropriate, have made this Policy available to that person.

If an online payment option is offered, a payment processor may collect payment-card or banking information directly. Maison Albion may receive transaction details such as payment status, date, amount, transaction identifier or limited billing information, but we generally do not need to receive or retain a complete payment-card number.

Information collected automatically

When you use our website, forms, scheduling pages, emails or advertisements, we and our service providers may automatically collect:

  • Internet Protocol address and approximate location derived from it;

  • Device, browser, operating system and language information;

  • Pages viewed, links selected, referring and exit pages and dates or times of activity;

  • Cookie identifiers, pixels, tags and similar identifiers;

  • Website session and interaction data;

  • Form starts and submissions;

  • Email delivery, opening or link-interaction information, where permitted;

  • SMS delivery and response information;

  • Appointment identifiers, calendar, date, time, booking status and rescheduling information;

  • Marketing source information, such as referral URLs and UTM parameters; and

  • Advertising identifiers and click information, including platform click identifiers such as Google's GCLID, GBRAID and WBRAID and similar identifiers used by other advertising platforms.

  •

Information from other sources

We may receive information from:

  • A partner, parent, family member, planner or other person communicating with us about an event;

  • Website, CRM, scheduling, email and SMS providers acting on our behalf;

  • Advertising and analytics providers, including campaign, referral and conversion information from platforms such as Google, Meta or Pinterest;

  • Social media platforms when you interact with a Maison Albion account or advertisement; and

  • Vendors or professional advisers involved in an event or business relationship, where appropriate.

Sensitive information

We do not ask you to provide sensitive personal information through our general marketing or tour-booking forms, and we do not use sensitive personal information for advertising personalization.

Event-planning details you later choose to share may incidentally reveal information such as accessibility needs, dietary requirements, religious preferences or family relationships. We use that information only as reasonably necessary to respond to your request, accommodate the event, protect safety, fulfill our agreement or comply with law. We do not intentionally send that information to advertising platforms for matching or targeting.

3. How We Use Information

We may use personal information to:

  • Provide a requested venue guide, pricing information or other materials;

  • Respond to questions and inquiries;

  • Schedule, confirm, reschedule and manage venue tours;

  • Prepare proposals, contracts and event arrangements;

  • Provide wedding, venue and event services;

  • Maintain our contact, appointment and client records;

  • Organize contacts in our customer relationship management system and send appropriate follow-up communications;

  • Send administrative, scheduling, service and relationship messages;

  • Send marketing communications in accordance with your preferences and applicable law;

  • Personalize our communications and website experience;

  • Understand how people find and use our website;

  • Measure the performance of landing pages, forms, advertising campaigns and customer journeys;

  • Attribute venue-guide requests, tour bookings, wedding bookings and other outcomes to marketing sources;

  • Improve our services, website, marketing and sales process;

  • Avoid displaying irrelevant acquisition advertising to people who have already booked, where permitted;

  • Detect misuse, prevent fraud, maintain security and troubleshoot technical issues;

  • Enforce our agreements and protect our rights and the rights of others;

  • Complete a business transaction such as a financing, merger, acquisition or sale; and

  • Meet legal, tax, accounting, insurance and regulatory obligations.

Where applicable law requires a legal basis for processing, we rely as appropriate on your consent, steps taken at your request, performance of a contract, compliance with legal obligations and our legitimate interests in operating, securing and improving our services. You may withdraw consent where processing depends on consent, although withdrawal does not affect processing that was lawful before withdrawal.

4. Website Hosting, CRM and Scheduling

Our website is operated using a third-party website hosting platform. That platform and its service providers may process device, usage, cookie and form information needed to operate, secure and improve the website.

We use a customer relationship management and marketing platform for venue-guide and inquiry follow-up, tour scheduling, calendar management, workflows, email and SMS communications and related reporting. This provider and its subprocessors process personal information under Maison Albion's instructions to provide these services.

Information submitted through a form or scheduling page hosted on that platform may be stored in the platform and connected to the relevant contact, appointment and communication history.

5. Cookies and Similar Technologies

We and our providers use cookies, pixels, tags, local storage and similar technologies. These technologies may support:

  • Essential functions: security, network operation, page delivery and required site features;

  • Functional features: remembering settings and improving the site experience;

  • Analytics: understanding traffic, navigation, form activity and site performance; and

  • Advertising and measurement: understanding which advertisements or campaigns led to site visits, inquiries, tours or bookings and, where permitted, supporting interest-based advertising.

You may be able to manage nonessential cookies through a cookie control displayed on our website. You can also configure your browser to block or delete cookies. Blocking cookies may affect website features, and deleting cookies does not prevent new cookies from being stored if you later permit them.

Where required by applicable law, we honor supported and legally recognized universal opt-out signals, such as Global Privacy Control, as an opt-out for the browser or device sending the signal. These signals are generally browser- and device-specific. We do not respond to older Do Not Track signals where no applicable standard requires a response.

6. Analytics and Advertising Platforms

We use analytics and advertising platforms to understand website activity, measure advertising and improve marketing performance. These currently include Google Analytics and Google Ads and may include other advertising platforms, such as Meta (Facebook and Instagram), Pinterest and similar providers.

Google Analytics

Google Analytics may receive information such as page URLs, device and browser details, general location, referral source, website interactions and cookie or device identifiers. We use its reports to understand matters such as which pages people visit, how visitors move through the website and whether important actions occur. Google explains how it uses information from sites that use its services at How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services.

Conversion measurement

We may send an advertising platform information about actions such as:

  • Venue-guide or information requests;

  • Form submissions;

  • Tour bookings;

  • Wedding or client bookings; and

  • Other meaningful customer-journey events.

The information may include the conversion type and time, an appointment or transaction identifier, event source, campaign or click identifiers, and conversion value where appropriate.

For enhanced conversion measurement or offline conversion imports, an email address or telephone number may be normalized and converted through the SHA-256 one-way hashing process by us or our service provider before or during transmission to the platform. The platform may compare the resulting hashed identifier with its own records to help determine whether an advertisement contributed to a conversion.

Hashing reduces exposure of the ordinary email address or telephone number during matching, but a hashed identifier is still treated as personal information under this Policy. We ordinarily retain the readable contact information in our CRM for legitimate customer-service and business purposes; hashing for an advertising platform does not mean that every copy in our systems is stored only as a hash.

Advertising click identifiers, such as Google's GCLID, GBRAID and WBRAID or the click identifiers used by other platforms, are not email addresses or telephone numbers. They identify an advertising interaction and may be sent with a conversion event so the platform can attribute it to the appropriate advertisement, keyword or campaign.

Eligible conversion events may be transmitted after the event occurs, including a controlled upload of recent historical events, where the information was collected and is used consistently with this Policy and applicable requirements.

Customer audiences and list matching

Where enabled and permitted, we may use first-party contact information to create or update customer audience segments through Google Customer Match, Meta Custom Audiences, Pinterest customer lists or a similar feature. For example, a segment may help us measure advertising, avoid showing acquisition ads to booked clients, understand campaign performance or reach people who previously engaged with Maison Albion.

These processes may use hashed email addresses or telephone numbers to seek a match with an advertising-platform account. We do not upload information that we know belongs to a child under 13, and we do not use sensitive event details to build advertising audiences.

We use these features only with information collected directly in our relationship with you and subject to applicable consent, notice and opt-out requirements. Where applicable, we send advertising consent signals or restrict personalization based on the choices associated with the information.

You can manage Google advertising choices through My Ad Center, and similar controls are available in the settings of other advertising platforms, such as Meta ad preferences and Pinterest personalization settings. Additional choices are described below.

7. When We Disclose Information

Service providers

We may disclose personal information to companies that provide services on our behalf, including:

  • Website hosting and infrastructure providers;

  • Customer relationship management, marketing automation and scheduling providers;

  • Analytics and advertising providers, such as Google, Meta and Pinterest;

  • Email, telephone, SMS and communications providers;

  • Calendar and scheduling providers;

  • Data hosting, storage, security, backup and technical-support providers;

  • Payment processors, when applicable; and

  • Accountants, attorneys, insurers, consultants and other professional advisers.

These providers may process information only to provide services to us, subject to their contracts, applicable law and their own responsibilities.

Analytics and advertising providers

We may disclose online identifiers, device information, browsing activity, advertising click identifiers, conversion information and hashed contact identifiers to analytics and advertising providers for measurement and, where permitted, targeted advertising or customer matching.

Some state privacy laws define certain disclosures for cross-context behavioral or targeted advertising as a sale, sharing or targeted advertising even when no money changes hands. To the extent an applicable law treats our activities that way, you may opt out as explained below.

At your direction

We may disclose information when you ask or authorize us to do so, including to a partner, parent, planner, vendor or other event participant.

Legal, safety and rights-related disclosures

We may disclose information when reasonably necessary to comply with law or legal process; respond to lawful government requests; investigate fraud, security issues or unlawful activity; enforce agreements; or protect Maison Albion, our clients, guests or others.

Business transactions

Information may be disclosed or transferred in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, bankruptcy, sale of assets or similar transaction, subject to appropriate protections.

Aggregated or deidentified information

We may use or disclose information that has been aggregated or deidentified so it cannot reasonably be linked to an individual. We do not attempt to reidentify properly deidentified information except to test whether our deidentification processes work.

No sale for money

Maison Albion does not sell personal information for money. As explained above, advertising-related disclosures may nevertheless fall within broader statutory definitions of sale, sharing or targeted advertising in some states.

8. Email and Text Messages

Email

You may unsubscribe from marketing emails by using the unsubscribe link in the message or emailing us. We may still send nonmarketing communications reasonably related to an inquiry, appointment, contract, payment, safety matter or active event relationship.

Text messages and calls

When you provide a telephone number and the required consent, we may send text messages or make calls concerning your inquiry, venue guide, tour, event, services or promotions. Message frequency may vary. Message and data rates may apply. Consent to marketing texts is not a condition of purchasing Maison Albion services.

You may opt out of automated text messages by replying STOP or by contacting us. You may receive one nonmarketing confirmation that your opt-out was processed. For assistance, reply HELP or email us at the address below.

We do not sell, rent or disclose mobile telephone numbers or SMS opt-in and consent records to unaffiliated third parties for their own marketing or promotional purposes. We may disclose them to providers that transmit, route, manage or support our communications, including platform providers, carriers and messaging aggregators, but only as needed to provide those services or comply with law.

9. Your Advertising and Communication Choices

You may:

  • Unsubscribe from marketing email through the link in an email;

  • Reply STOP to automated text messages;

  • Change browser cookie settings;

  • Use available website cookie controls;

  • Use a legally recognized universal opt-out signal where supported and required;

  • Manage advertising preferences through platform controls, such as Google My Ad Center, Meta ad preferences and Pinterest personalization settings; or

  • Email us to request an opt-out from targeted advertising or customer-list matching associated with your information.

An advertising opt-out does not necessarily stop all advertisements. You may continue to see contextual or nonpersonalized advertising, and we may continue to process limited information for security, fraud prevention, measurement or other purposes permitted by law.

10. Data Retention

We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Policy, including to:

  • Respond to inquiries and manage the sales journey;

  • Schedule and document tours;

  • Provide wedding and event services;

  • Maintain contracts, bookings and transaction records;

  • Honor communication and privacy preferences;

  • Measure marketing and resolve attribution issues;

  • Protect against fraud and security incidents;

  • Establish, exercise or defend legal claims; and

  • Meet tax, accounting, insurance and other legal obligations.

The applicable period depends on the type of information, the relationship, contractual and legal requirements, the sensitivity of the information and whether the information is still needed. When information is no longer required, we may delete, deidentify or securely isolate it. Residual copies may remain temporarily in backups or archives until they are overwritten or can be deleted safely.

11. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards designed for the nature of the personal information we maintain. These may include access controls, account-security practices, secure transmission, provider oversight, staff procedures, backups and retention controls.

No website, transmission, cloud service or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure. You should use care when sending information electronically and should not send highly sensitive information through a general website form or ordinary email unless requested through an appropriate secure method.

12. Children's Privacy

Our website and services are intended for adults planning or participating in weddings and events. They are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13 through our marketing services.

An adult may provide limited information about children who will attend or participate in an event when necessary for planning or safety. We do not use that information for targeted advertising or customer matching.

If you believe a child has provided personal information to us improperly, contact us so we can review and delete it where appropriate.

13. U.S. State Privacy Rights

Depending on your state of residence and whether the applicable law covers Maison Albion or the relevant processing, you may have the right to:

  • Confirm whether we process your personal information;

  • Access or obtain a copy of personal information;

  • Correct inaccurate information;

  • Request deletion of information;

  • Obtain certain information in a portable format;

  • Opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information;

  • Opt out of targeted advertising;

  • Limit certain uses or disclosures of sensitive personal information;

  • Receive information about categories of information, sources, purposes and recipients;

  • Appeal a decision concerning a privacy request; and

  • Exercise privacy rights without unlawful discrimination.

These rights are subject to statutory exceptions. For example, we may need to retain information to complete a transaction, provide requested services, comply with law, protect security or establish and defend legal claims.

Categories relevant to state privacy notices

During the preceding 12 months, we may have collected the following statutory categories:

  • Identifiers and customer-record information;

  • Commercial, inquiry, tour, contract and booking information;

  • Internet, website, device and advertising activity;

  • Approximate geolocation;

  • Communications sent to us or through our services;

  • Event-planning information; and

  • Inferences concerning likely interests or preferences based on interactions with our services.

We may disclose these categories to the service-provider and recipient categories described in Section 7. Advertising providers may receive identifiers, online activity, approximate location, advertising interaction data or related inferences for measurement or targeted-advertising purposes. We do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of people under 16 for targeted advertising.

We do not currently offer a financial incentive in exchange for personal information.

To submit a privacy request, email Bonjour@MaisonAlbion.com with the subject line Privacy Request, call 585-488-4899 or write to Maison Albion LLC, 13800 W County House Rd, Albion, NY 14411. Please describe the request and the state in which you reside.

We may ask for information reasonably necessary to verify your identity and locate the relevant records. We use verification information only to process the request. If we cannot verify a request, an exception applies or fulfilling it would adversely affect another person's rights, we may limit or deny the request and explain the reason where required.

An authorized agent may submit a request where applicable law permits. We may require evidence of the agent's authority and may ask you to confirm the request directly.

If applicable law provides an appeal right, reply to our decision with the subject line Privacy Appeal and explain why you believe it should be reconsidered.

California residents may also request information under California's Shine the Light law concerning certain disclosures, if any, for third parties' own direct-marketing purposes.

14. Visitors Outside the United States

Maison Albion is located in the United States, and our systems and providers may process information in the United States and other countries. Privacy laws in those locations may differ from those where you live.

Where applicable law requires it, we use an appropriate basis and safeguards for international processing and transfers. Contact us if you have a legally applicable request concerning international processing.

15. Third-Party Links and Services

Our website or communications may link to social networks, maps, payment services, vendors or other third-party services. A third party's own privacy policy governs information it collects independently. We encourage you to review those policies before providing information.

16. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Policy as our services, providers, technology or legal obligations change. We will post the revised Policy and update the effective date. If a change materially affects how we use information already collected, we will provide additional notice or request consent where required.
