Maison Albion; couture dresses straight from the drawing board; and a fully floral table runner- this styled shoot combines soft romantic weddings with whimsical details. Photographer Brittany Ford collaborated with Sarah Kolis Designs, Erin Hills Makeup Artistry, Colors and Cuts by Kait, and Allison Pennington of Maison Albion, to bring you this floral fairy tale wedding on the grounds of Maison Albion.
Inspiration for this styled shoot started when the Pantone Color Institute chose the Very Peri 17-3938 as the color of the year. Allison envisioned this new blue-toned color with hints of red- almost a periwinkle purple and displayed it beautifully throughout the flowers chosen for the statement centerpiece. This completely floral table runner topped one of Maison Albion's wooden farm tables, perfect for this fairytale-themed wedding amongst the forested trees. From the flowers to the prints, you can see the inspiration of fairytales and soft weddings throughout all of Brittany Ford's detailed photos. From the periwinkle knot folded napkins to the elegant floral fine china plates and gold silverware, every detail was quintessential for this soft, fairytale wedding style shoot. The three-tiered wedding cake was the literal icing on the cake for this shoot, provided by Krysten Portal with You're Baking Me Hungry.
Models Mack Paige and Mila Kalcevic looked stunning in the handmade wedding dresses designed by Sarah Kolis. Miss Paige wore the wedding dress designed with a square neckline and full ball gown skirt entirely made from 100% silk fabrics and linens. She twirled her way through the great lawn of Maison Albion after getting ready in Maison's Bridal and Bridesmaid Suites. The design for Miss Kalcevic's wedding dress also included a square neckline, sheer sleeves, and a floor-length A-line bottom. Miss Kalcevic looked effortlessly fabulous throughout her photoshoot within Maison. And was as pretty as a picture as she floated along Maison Albion's pond on La Petite Bateau with her emerald green vintage umbrella.
After the wedding dresses, Sarah Kolis provided two-of-a-kind cocktail dresses for our Models to unveil. Miss Paige was astonishing in the yellow v-neck calf-length dress. This dress shaped Miss Paige's body flawlessly, and the color made her tan skin glow. This dress was covered in petit red roses, perfect for any Beauty looking for her Beast. Miss Kalcevic's dress, handbag, and shoes were the perfect matching trio, a very light lavender color. Her blonde hair and fair skin complemented the one-of-a-kind embroidered tulle dress.
As the end of day drew near, everyone left with twinkles in their eyes and happiness in their hearts. This styled shoot was a victory in the eyes of all those who helped make it happen.
